The short answer is nothing yet.
You’ve probably read/heard/seen the recent news that a Federal District Court Judge in Texas ruled the ACA is unconstitutional. Now, citing that “many everyday Americans would otherwise face great uncertainty”, Judge Reed O’Connor has halted his earlier ruling pending appeal.
It is likely the ACA will remain the law, despite the appeal. There have been 71 repeal attempts of this legislation through the years, none of which have succeeded. The ACA has also survived two Supreme Court decisions. Stay tuned. When it comes to the ACA, there is always more to come.
