Large Shoes to Fill
Paul Clark, President & CEO, and Laura Bennett, CFO, both agree that Armando announcing his retirement was sad news for Clark & Lavey, but that everyone is happy for him. “It has been a pleasure to work with Armando for his tenure with us. He has been a complete asset to our organization and to our clients fulfilling the role of practice leader. Armando has always been ready to assist with any HR needs our clients have; everything from day-to-day issues to providing training courses geared toward a specific client based on their company size and needs. He is leaving large shoes to fill and he will be missed.”
The Impact of COVID-19
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has provided us with an opportunity to think differently about how we approach certain positions, and how we can adapt to address the evolving needs of our clients. One of those positions turned out to be the Human Resources Practice Leader role – which would have not been considered if not for Armando announcing his retirement. Stacy Barrow from Marathas Barrow Weatherhead Lent LLP will continue to work with us as our legal partner. And, he will also work in conjunction with our Human Resources department as needed.
Introducing our new HR Practice Leader
We are proud to introduce Jennifer Hayes as our new Human Resources Practice Leader. Jennifer was recommended to us from a trusted connection. She brings 18 years of hands-on experience developing, designing, and growing businesses with a strong emphasis in Human Resources. She has worked closely with organizations such as Enterprise Ireland assisting members in creating and growing businesses in the United States and abroad.
As an executive, Jennifer oversaw all areas of human resources including employee relations and experience, enhancing corporate culture, compensation and benefits, compliance, recruitment, and training. Jennifer’s expertise provides her the ability to offer exemplary and motivating benefits. These include competitive salary and bonus structures, unique insurance programs, and stock and/or profit-sharing plans. As a certified NLP instructor, Jennifer incorporates this method of learning into both her content and delivery of trainings. In addition to her extensive work with NLP, Jennifer has continued her studies in order to stay current and broaden her background in both business operations and human resources.
